Partners

Who pays for the room, and exactly what they get.

This page is here so the people in the room can read it. Law firms, legal technology companies, associations and venues support or host a room so that the lawyers in it don’t pay a penny. That arrangement only works if it is written down in one place and the same for everybody.

The cap
A stated, capped number of supporters per room, published rather than negotiated.
The rule
Never in the room while it is working. On a contest day, out on the course and at the evening.
The disclosure
Everyone in the room is told in writing what their place cost and who paid for it.

Who we work with

For organisations who are looking to invest in relationships.

You’re investing in the relationship, not the sale. Some of the people in the room will become your clients. Most won’t. That’s what makes the room worth being in.

  • A practice group leader at a firm who wants their name on a room GCs actually want to attend, not another sponsored dinner.
  • A university, professional association or community that wants to build a moment for its own people — a room, not a brochure.
  • A legal tech director who wants their product’s moment to be a genuine contest people play, and a seat inside a community that’s actively thinking about tools like theirs.

There is no menu, no tier and no price on this site — this isn’t that kind of relationship. What a room costs and who else is supporting it arrives in a single document, so you know exactly who you’d be alongside before anything is signed.

Partner Content

A place to publish what you actually know.

Supporters publish their insight here — written pieces and filmed conversations, made once and given to the people in them. Your name is on the front of it and it outlives the day. It is never sold on its own, and it is never allowed to shape the room it came from.

The next step

Talk to me about supporting or hosting a room.

Tell me who you are and I reply personally from my own address within a week. You’ll know who else is supporting the room before anything is signed. Nothing is on sale on this site, so nothing here takes payment.

This opens your own email, addressed straight to me at chris@futrgc.com. The same fields also reach the site’s host, which passes them on to me — see the privacy note, which says exactly what happens.
