The next step
Ask for an invitation.
A few quick fields, no payment anywhere on this page, because nothing is on sale yet. I read every one of these myself.
For a lawyer
Ask for an invitation.
Everyone in the room is invited by name, one person per company. Some rooms are built for general counsel; others for the lawyers five to ten years in who run the pilot and brief the firm. Both are peer rooms, and the working part of both is in-house only. This is you telling me to put your name in front of that.
Before you send it
Four things that are true.
Nothing is on sale yet, and there is nothing to reserve. No date or venue is fixed. A venue gets named here when it is contracted. I reply personally, from my own address, within a week, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
For a company
Thinking about supporting a room instead?
A stated, capped number of supporters per room, with the full commercial detail, and you see who is in the room before anything is signed. It is laid out properly on its own page rather than compressed into a second form here.
What you are asking about
Three kinds of room, and one rule that runs through all of them.
Table Talk is a small group around one live question — sometimes behind a closed door, sometimes in front of an audience — with a mixer or an evening built around it. A friendly contest puts two practice lawyers against two in-house lawyers, drawn so nobody is up against the firm that acts for them, with roundtables and an evening around it. The Expedition takes a handful of people, speakers included, somewhere far enough that titles fall away, each edition built around its own place. The rule that runs through all three: nobody in the room is selling to anybody else in it.
You are told in writing what your place is worth and who paid for it, so you can put it through your own policy without having to ask. There is no membership fee, nothing to subscribe to and nothing on sale on this site.
Everything here describes a design rather than a record. When a venue is contracted it will be named on this site. Declining costs you nothing and the invitation stands next year.
